1 Our Mass Schedule Mon, Weds, Fri: 8am Daily Mass Tues, Thurs: 8am Liturgy of the Word (Communion Service) Tues: 2-7pm Eucharistic Adoration Tues: 7pm Spanish Mass Thurs: 8:30am Bible Study Sat: 4pm (English) & 6pm (Spanish) Sunday: 7:30am (Spanish), 10am Mass (English) Thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time June 26, 2016 God calls Saint Clement Parish to be a welcoming, worshipping community of faith, hope, and love. A Reflection From Deacon Paul: Admonishing the Sinner Reprender al Pecador The next Spiritual Work of Mercy is Admonishing the Sinner. Believing that sin can lead a person away from God and neighbor, this act of mercy risks telling a person what he or she may not wish to hear. Admonishment may take the form of good example or of disciplinary action. Do not judge, but be supportive in helping others find their way and correct their mistakes. Together we can learn to walk more closely with Christ. In humility we must strive to create a culture that does not accept sin, while realizing that we all fall at times. Don't judge, but guide others towards the path of salvation. When you correct someone, don't be arrogant. We are all in need of God's loving correction. The reproof should be administered privately, i.e. directly to the delinquent and not in the presence of others. This is plainly the method appointed by Christ as found in Matthew 18:15. We should journey together to a deeper understanding of our shared faith. We must be aware of our sinfulness so as not to be hypocritical, as Jesus said: "Remove the wooden beam from your eye first; then you will see clearly to remove the splinter from your brother's eye" (Mt 7:5) La siguiente obra de Misericordia espiritual es Reprender al Pecador Con la seguridad de que el pecado lleva a una persona lejos de Dios y de su vecino, este acto de piedad nos lleva a tomar el riesgo de decir a una persona lo que el o ella no quieren oir. (Mt 7: 5) Faith Formation We have two opportunities for faith formation starting this week. First is Vacation Bible School for children up to grade 6 will start on Monday, see our website for information and application to enroll. Secondly we will start an adult bible study on the Book of Revelation on Tuesday. There is information inside the bulletin about this program.

For more information contact Agnes OR Mary Bible Study: The Book of Revelation The Book of Revelation may be the most controversial book in the bible. It has spawned a whole industry of interpreting the book. Interpretations go from it predicting the end of the world to teaching about faith in God. This will be at least a 12 week course where you will learn about its origins on the Greek island of Patmos, apocalyptic writing in the early Church, and how its original audience might have understood the text and more. Each week we will cover one lesson. The study will be done on Tuesdays at 7 pm and Wednesdays at 4 pm and begin on June 28 at 7 pm or June 29 at 4 pm. Come join us as we prayerfully open our minds to what God is saying to us in this book. Faith in Action This past week, Baltimore County Public Schools hosted a luncheon for the many volunteers who serve the school children in our county. Roland Pancotti and George Smith represented our pantry at that event. Riverview Elementary presented Roland with an award for 10 years of service for the backpack program that he started and has supported all that time. Both Roland and George, as well as several other weekly volunteers are to be commended for their contributions to this much needed service. Through their efforts, 100 children receive 4 meals per weekend over a 36 week school year. Thank you Roland and George.
